Why the wording changes
An LLC is a U.S. term. A limited company in the UK is not simply a spelling variation of an American corporation. A Canadian business number, Australian Business Number, New Zealand Business Number, U.S. EIN, and VAT identifier serve different systems and should not be treated as interchangeable.
